Lion Dick Wilcox, District Governor

 

Hello I am Richard "Dick" Wilcox. It is indeed an honor to serve the Lions of District 31-L as your 2026-2027 District Governor.

I have been a member of the Etowah Lions for 8 years and have served in a variety of positions including Club president.

I am a transplant to North Carolina moving here in 2017 from western New York. While I am relatively new to LIONs I am no stranger to community service organizations. I have been a member of the Grange for 59 years and the Knights of Columbus for 30 years.

I look forward to serving the LIONS in this capacity and will pledge my commitment all to this office serving the clubs of western North Carolina.

I reside in Hendersonville with my partner in service Janice. We have two adult children living in the area and one granddaughter.
