District Monetary Goals


These are projects within the district supported by the District Governor’s team. In most cases these are long standing programs that are based on humanitarian and recognition matters. All members of the district are encouraged to support this fund so that the district can continue to support the efforts and recognize those that help.

Brighter Visions Goal


- $90 per member and $63,000 for the district.
- Please make check payable to NCLF direct.
- Programs will be scheduled by your Brighter Visions Chair.


Memorials or Honorariums

Camp Dogwood

Memorials and Honorariums will be counted towards the Brighter Visions goal for the year over and above the goal per member.

Marjorie McCune Community

Membership Growth


By the end of the 2024-2025 fiscal year, our district will achieve a positive membership growth (meet or exceed last year’s membership numbers).
a. Our team will charter 2 new clubs.
b. Our clubs will induct 20 new members into existing clubs.
c. Our district will not surpass 10 dropped members.

 

Service Projects

 

Each Club in District 31L will have at least one service for project for each of the eight global causes: (1) Childhood Cancer, (2) Diabetes Awareness, (3) Disaster Relief, (4) Environment, (5) Humanitarianism, (6) Hunger, (7) Vision, (8) Youth

 

Camp Dogwood Tickets


- $50 worth of Camp Dogwood tickets per member
- This is for maintaining the NC Lions Foundation Headquarters and campus of Camp Dogwood for the Blind and Visually Impaired. A facility that we (Lions) own and operate, and which is aged at over 50 years in existence. Camp Dogwood is located on Lake Norman.


Sponsorships


- Sponsor at least two VIPs to the VIP Fishing Tournament
- Sponsor at least two VIPs to Camp Dogwood
