My name is Debbie Bell and I am honored to serve as your Cabinet Secretary for the 2026-2027 Lions Year. A native of Henderson County, I retired after 40 years from the my professional career in the Lighting Industry in July 2017. I elected to concentrate on volunteer opportunities giving back to my community and serving my Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I have been an active member of Crab Creek Baptist Church for the past 47 years.
I was widowed in 2011 after 32 years of marriage to Larry Bell, my true partner in life. I have a beautiful step-daughter who also lives in Hendersonville with her husband and 2 children. I have lived in the Crab Creek Community for the past 47 years.
I joined the Hendersonville Lions Club in 2018. The opportunity to serve vision impaired folks and others in my community was a great incentive to actively support the Club activities and LCI.
As a Lion I have served as:
